Creative Dance provides children ages 4 to 8 an opportunity to explore a range of dance styles and experiences, offering a rounded educational dance experience. Dance styles include Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Rhythm & Tap. As students explore movement vocabulary from different genres, they develop a sense of self, develop poise, grace and correct body alignment as well as musicality, rhythm, creativity and technique.
Flora Leptak-Moreau hails from the Caribbean Island of Dominica. She has danced all her life and directs both Kai Kweol Caribbean Music & Dance and Ballet Caraibes. She has been teaching dance to children and adults for many, many years.
